We hold an outsourced accountant licence, No. AGL0001078, issued by the VID. It covers outsourced accounting, not legal services, and you can check its status in the VID register using our registration number, 40203239265. The licence means that the VID has assessed the firm against the requirements of the Accounting Law (Grāmatvedības likums); it does not guarantee the quality of the work. We have more than 50 clients in Latvia and abroad.

Do you work with private individuals, or only with companies?
Both. For private individuals, we provide legal services for residence permits, visas and property transactions, and we prepare annual income tax returns. We help the self-employed and sole traders register and keep their books. If you are not an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, your visa or residence permit shows whether and on what terms you may work in Latvia, so check it first. The rest of the list is aimed at companies and their founders: formation, contracts, accounting, licences and liquidation.
Can you help with several matters at once, such as a company, a residence permit and accounting?

Can you represent a company before the State Revenue Service (VID) and other authorities?
Yes, under a power of attorney. We represent companies before the VID, the Register of Enterprises and other authorities, including in tax audits and in disputes with those authorities, and prepare the documents the VID asks for. Can you draft or review a contract and help with a property transaction?
Yes. We draft and review commercial, supply, service and employment contracts, as well as founding documents. In a property transaction we check the ownership and any encumbrances, prepare the contract and help submit the documents to register ownership rights in the land register (zemesgrāmata). Under Section 2 of the Land Register Law (Zemesgrāmatu likums), land register matters fall within the jurisdiction of the district (city) courts, not the Register of Enterprises. Latvian laws on this page are cited from their texts on likumi.lv; the Latvian text prevails over any English translation.
